Dr. Mark Mason MBE - Chair
Mark is a serial entrepreneur. He has set up, grown and sold three businesses. With a degree in Electronic Engineering and a diploma in marketing Mark brings a wealth of commercial experience and a wide business network. In 2014 Mark awarded an honorary Doctorate in Technology and in 2017 he was awarded an MBE for his services to the Digital Industry. Mark is currently a founder member of the Bristol Private Equity Club which helps local business raise seed capital from local business people. Mark has one daughter Milly and he flies hot air balloons in his spare time.

Maggie enjoyed many years teaching in Further Education before choosing to volunteer with disadvantaged young people. This experience led to a big decision move away from teaching to establish 2 charities which have grown significantly since they were established in 2017. Her time is now divided between a range of charitable endeavours, Â having great fun with her young granddaughter, lots of walking, travel, creative arts and exploring Spanish and Latin American culture. A strong believer in fairness and equality Maggie has a strong desire to help disadvantaged children, young people and their families.
Paul Davis
Born in Bristol, Paul comes from a family deeply rooted in the city’s business community. Despite his father’s naval aspirations, he pursued a career in business, starting in shipbroking in London. Venturing out on his own at 24, he found success by pioneering innovative solutions in shipping and later focused on niche markets like UK offshore islands. After selling his freight interests in 2016, he remains active in property management, non-executive roles, and investments, contributing to various organisations in Bristol.
